MWDN is an international hiring and team-building company that helps tech businesses find skilled people and build teams worldwide. We’ve been doing it since 2002, and over the years we have seen big changes not just in the industry but also in our own business.
The company changed before the brand did
When MWDN started as a software development agency, the recruitment process looked very different from today. Most teams then were made up of local people, and there were only a few opportunities to hire them
Over time, the situation began changing slowly. Companies began combining different ways of hiring and expecting much more support after the recruitment itself. MWDN was keeping up with these changes too. We started working in global markets and offering various possibilities for creating and managing teams.
At some point, we understood that the old brand was just a part of the story. It doesn’t mean the new one is about starting everything from scratch. It is about the brand that finally reflects the company MWDN has already become.
Access to talent is only the beginning
Today, finding people outside your home market is easier than ever. But the challenge is knowing which hiring methods are available, what approach works best in each case, and how to smoothly bring new employees into the company.
Statistics show this change. For example, by March 2026, the share of employees at private Israeli tech companies who were based in Israel had fallen to 62%, down from 69% in 2019. At the same time, the number of job openings in the high-tech sector continued to grow throughout 2025. Companies may become more cautious about headcount. But when they do hire, professional skills (rather than location) are increasingly the top priority in the hiring process.
And that is where access to talent turns into the much bigger job of building a team.

A team doesn’t have to be in the same place to move in the same direction. It’s important for people to understand the product, fit the company’s work culture, and help achieve shared goals.
That is the idea behind our manifesto:

Every company takes a different approach to hiring. For example, a startup developing its first product has different needs than a company scaling its engineering team or entering a new market.

That’s why MWDN now works as an all-in-one hiring partner, with recruitment, staff augmentation, EOR, BPO, T&M, and dedicated teams available depending on the client’s requirements and desired level of support.
A new chapter, now reflected online
This idea is the main focus of our new website. Not everyone who contacts us knows immediately if they need staff augmentation, or recruitment, or outsourcing etc. Sometimes clients just ask for a Python developer, a QA engineer, or an employee in another country.
The new Hire a Talent section now covers a wide range of roles, while the Services section explains different ways of working with MWDN. We’ve also improved the case studies and navigation so you can explore the site from the angle that makes the most sense for you. You can explore MWDN by talent, service, or business needs.
But some things haven’t changed
The website looks different, but the way we work with clients hasn’t suddenly changed with it. We still care more about finding the right match for you than sending dozens of CVs. And our work continues even after someone is hired.
