Comeet Technologies developed a collaborative applicant tracking system designed to help companies manage recruiting, candidate evaluation, and hiring workflows. In 2023, the Israeli HR technology company joined Spark Hire, bringing its ATS into a broader hiring software platform.
After securing investment, Comeet entered a new stage of growth and needed additional engineering capacity to support its expanding product.
The company needed to cover several technical functions as its hiring geography expanded. The initial team was built in Ukraine, while later searches extended across Europe, including local hires in Greece and Poland.
MWDN expanded the search from Ukraine to European markets, sourcing specialists locally as Comeet’s hiring needs evolved, including in Greece and Poland.
The search covered specialists with experience relevant to Comeet’s product stack, including Python, Django, React, and Angular.
Alongside individual contributors, MWDN covered senior leadership roles, including a head of product, head of engineering, and Python tech lead.
Reference checks were built into the selection process to verify candidates’ experience and alignment with Comeet’s expectations.
Results
The IT staff augmentation setup covered engineering, QA, technical leadership, and database functions within one extended team.
MWDN continues to add specialists as Comeet’s needs evolve, while established team members remain with the company for extended periods.
MWDN supported positions across different functions and seniority levels, from junior backend development to engineering leadership.
The cooperation has continued through multiple stages of Comeet’s growth and its later integration with Spark Hire.
